In today's world of glamour, people will go to almost any length to get the look they want. You hear people deciding to wear weave for several reasons. There are many different types of hair extensions. There are differences in the way the hair extension is prepared, in the technique used to attach it to your own hair, and in what kind of hair is used. Our clients for instance wear weave to achieve a certain style, to add length to their own hair, to add thickness to their own hair or because they have a problem with baldness. In this section, we are going to talk about the different weaving techniques that are out there and you can decide which one is best for you.

How does the payment plan work?

We at A Woman's Glory Hair Studio want all of our clients to have the best hair experience possible. Sometimes the best hair trends tend to be high priced; so we would like to extend the opportunity to take part in our payment plan option for all orders over $500.00. This will allow you to pay in installments, and once your balance is paid in full, you will have a great unit waiting for you.You can pay weekly, bi-weekly, however you would like. To take advantage of this opportunity choose the down payment option.Now please remember this option is only for purchases over $500.00.

Remember when using the payment plan there are no exchanges, and all sales are final.

CONSULTATION

This FREE session is needed before an appointment is scheduled. If you choose these Services can be provided in a private suite to give one on one attention to your hair needs. The best technique to fit your individual needs will be selected during the consultation.

DEPOSIT

Is required (non-refundable/only salon credit given) at the time of your appointment booking. The deposit must be paid at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance of customized wig being ordered. However, the deposit payment does count toward the balance of the entire payment of service. Deposit and Balance must be paid in the form of cash or credit card, & in person after services are rendered. Hair is ordered per appointment for some methods used. Which will be determined in the consultation session with hair replacement tech. in person. or through Paypal, (scroll below to make deposit payment).

Glue/Bond based attachments

Bonded Wefted Hair Extensions

Bonding is a temporary technique where you use hair glue is applied to add the pieces of wefted hair to the clients own hair. For some people it will last for many weeks and for others it loosens up after the first shampoo. This method is faster and therefore less expensive than strand by strand extensions.You can press it to create a straight and smoother texture or the tresses be curled or styled to your liking!

Pre-Glued Hair Extensions

Infusion (fusion) is a permanent technique requires heat to attach. This technique last anywhere from 3-5 months where hair is added individually to small hair strands of the clients own hair. In order to wear this technique, the client's hair must be at least 5-6 inches long. This technique can be done on all types of hair but the longevity of the wear is different on different hair types. This technique usually lasts for about 3 months but on RELAXED HAIR this technique lasts about 6-8 weeks.This process usually takes about 4-6 hours using the pre-tipped hair.The attachment of the hair strand to your own hair is composed of polymer chains whose molecular structure is very similar to that of human hair. A special applicator joins the strand with your hair. Easy to install and remove by an expert. Great lengths uses the highest quality hair available. We use keratin based glue for technique

Skin Weft-Seamless Hair Extensions

Is one of the newest and most undetectable method of extensions. Have a full, beautiful mane without lumps and bumps. Invisible hairline. No braids and No netting! Allows you to place hair very close to your hairline without detection! This technique won't damage your hair and will last for 4-8 weeks. You can shampoo your hair while wearing the seamless hair extensions and the hair is reusable. These extensions are very comfortable to wear.

Micro-link Weave Hair Extensions

This new strand –by- strand hair extension technique uses tiny micro rings for attachments. This technique also use 100% pre tipped human hair and that are attached with micro rings. No wax, glue or heat is used and it is virtually non-damaging to the hair. This process last up to 3 months and is suitable for anyone wanting length, volume, or the addition of hair color with out harmful chemicals.

Sewn-in Wefted Hair Extensions

Braid Weaving is a permanent technique which last anywhere from 2-3 months where you cornrow the hair first and then sew the pieces of wefted hair to the hair. This technique is not damaging to the hair.

Net Weave Wefted Hair Extensions

This involves adding hair extensions by creating a foundation with a weaving net and sewing the hair extensions. This method is usually for those who are experiencing severe hair loss and cannot create a secure track with their own hair. This technique is not damaging to the hair. This process usually takes about 2[1/2] to 4 hours. Net Weaving is a permanent technique which last anywhere from 2-3 months.

AWG Staff would suggest this techinque:

Sewn-in and net weaving give more tension to your hair and skin because it is tight and therefore will pull more. The extensions stylist should braid the tracks firmly but comfortably, it should not hurt. Its been stated some clients complain about being uncomfortable and having headaches using these systems, others have no complains at all.
